Review:
Lord Jagannatha is Lord Krishna, in one of His most beneficent manifestations.
He is not just some quaint, carved and painted folk-idol.
He is not approachable … not SEEABLE, except through the eyes of worshipful, loving devotion.
It’s an incredible joy to, again, find and read this wonderful book – my copy of which was consumed in a water disaster where I lived.
I cannot recommend this book too highly…it is am aweome literature (complete with lovely images in the traditional, devotional style of Puri, where His greatest temple is located.) …written with such love, the every story and factoid in the book is saturated with transcendental sweetness.
